COMMERCIAL DESIGN
Hewson-Stubbs commercial projects range from restaurants, boardrooms and offices to hairdressers, shops, and beauty salons.
The initial consultation involves getting a feel for the scale of the objectives and discussing the initial direction and scope of the project. Following this a brief is compiled which is later discussed and agreed with the client to ensure everyone involved is confident of the direction. A provisional budget and a list of fees are included at this stage broken-down into each aspect of the project.
At the second meeting design ideas are discussed and by the third initial schemes are discussed. The full design process typically takes five meetings over a period of three months.
The project for Simpsons was to develop a beauty salon over three floors, to include product sales area, reception, manicure stations, treatment rooms, relaxation room and pedicure area in addition to shower rooms, staff room and storage spaces also with a central stairway. |
